A childhood daydream, coming to life.

Remember the
little person
running alongside
the car?

Jumping fences. Leaping over walls.
Keeping up, somehow, with every mile.

Meet Pip
Pip leaping through the countryside in a recorded Windowbound development journey.
Pip in the passing world. Recorded gameplay · In development
Some adventures never really leave us.

We used to imagine someone running alongside the car.
Now our children can meet him.

Pip, a golden fox-rabbit with tall ears, a bright red scarf, and a curious smile.

A very small adventurer.
A rather magnificent scarf.

Your new travelling companion

Meet Pip.

The little adventurer who sees possibilities everywhere.

He’s curious. He’s courageous.
He’s occasionally ridiculous.

And he’s absolutely convinced the whole world is one enormous adventure.

A tree isn’t just a tree to Pip. It’s something to climb. A branch to swing from. Or possibly the beginning of a very bad idea.

And now, he’s coming along for the journey.

Open fields and a distant treeline seen from a passenger window.

Windowbound, by Whole Apple Studios

The world outside
is waiting to play.

Every passing tree.
Every hillside.
Every little village in the distance.

Places we’ve passed a thousand times.
Places Pip sees rather differently.

We’re creating Windowbound to turn the scenery outside your window into a living adventure. A little world of surprises, discoveries and extraordinary leaps.

A glimpse of the idea: countryside footage with approved Pip artwork. Windowbound is in development.

The journey we’re building

A little window into
a much bigger adventure.

  1. 01

    Give Pip a window.

An available adult’s compatible camera phone provides a view of the scenery outside.

  2. 02

    Let the adventure begin.

A child plays on their tablet while Pip explores the passing world.

  3. 03

    See where Pip takes you.

The scenery is intended to influence the adventures, discoveries and surprises that unfold.

Give your phone a better journey.

From our little studio in Gloucestershire

There’s a little magic
in the making.

We’re a small independent studio. We’re building Windowbound because we remember how extraordinary an ordinary journey could feel when imagination took over.

Pip is still learning. Learning to run. Learning to jump. Learning what his scarf can do. And learning how to find adventure in the world around him.

We’d love you to come along while we bring him to life.

A little news from Pip

Be there when Pip finds
his first adventure.

We’re inviting parents and curious grown-ups to follow the development of Windowbound. Be among the first to see new adventures, meet Pip as he develops, and hear about opportunities to help us test the experience.

See you out there.— The Windowbound Team
